The Image Resizer Powertoy from Microsoft allows you to resize one or many image files with a right-click. You can download this Powertoy from Microsoft site. After installing, you'll see a Resize Pictures context-menu when you right-click an Image file. To select multiple image files, press CTRL key and select the next file(s)
Choose the appropriate dimension you want and click OK. The output file will be created in the same folder. If the original filename is Winter.jpg, the output file name would be Winter (Small).jpg
This Powertoy adds a Context-menu handler in the registry, here:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ SystemFileAssociations \ image \ ShellEx \ ContextMenuHandlers \ PhotoResize
(default) is {1530f7ee-5128-43bd-9977-84a4b0fad7df}
If you've already installed the Power Toy and the Resize Pictures option does not appear, run these commands from Start, Run dialog:
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
regsvr32 phototoys.dll
